Empowerment Tip
Develop a Synergy Between Both Halves of Your Brain

In the context of this export business ideas - import business tips, here's a helpfull empowerment tip. Highly effective people have the capacity to be logical and analytical, and creative and intuitive. They know how to achieve a synergy between both halves of the brain. The left side of the brain is the source of the most analytical, logical, and rational thought. It performs the tasks necessary for well-reasoned arguments. The right side of the brain grasps the work in a more intuitive, overall manner. It is the source of impressionistic, creative thought.
To gain the edge in most situations, you decide whether it is time for logical and analytical, or creative and intuitive thought. For example, at one phase of a project you might be generating dozens of possible solutions to a problem. At another phase of the same project it may be necessary to scrutinize the advantages and disadvantages of each alternative.

The creative person achieves a synergy between both halves of the brain. Robert Gundlack, a physicist who has amassed more than 150 patents during his 35-year career, explains it this way: "Being creative means developing a synergy between the left half of the brain-the analytical half-and the right half of the brain-the creative half. I learned that at home during my childhood. My mother was an artist, a painter of landscapes. My father was a chemist, an inventor of Wild root hair oil. Both my parents influenced me equally well."

With practice you can hone both halves of your brain, thus achieving a synergy between the two. Devote time to both analytical and logical and to creative pursuits. If you are mostly the analytical type, spend more time doing creativity-enhancing exercises such as writing poems and brainstorming. If you are mostly the creative type, spend more time with activities such as playing chess, running computer software, or developing a budget.
